Profile

Biography

Siheng Ma is a psychiatry and mental health researcher currently completing his Master of Medicine at Xi'an Medical University. Building upon a robust clinical foundation established during his MBBS, his scholarship focuses on adolescent depression, non-invasive neuromodulation, digital mental health, and translational clinical research.

His work is distinguished by an interdisciplinary approach that seamlessly integrates clinical trial methodology, neuroimaging analysis (fNIRS), psychiatric assessment, and large-scale public health database mining (e.g., NHANES, CHARLS). He is actively involved in pioneering clinical studies, including randomized controlled trials (RCTs) investigating the efficacy of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) for anhedonia in adolescent depression.

Possessing comprehensive hands-on capability in full-cycle clinical trials, he is GCP-certified and highly skilled in statistical modeling and machine learning applications. In parallel, his research evaluates the quality of digital mental health information and the emerging role of artificial intelligence in psychiatric care. He has successfully published multiple first-author and co-first-author articles in high-impact Q1 journals. He currently serves as an Editorial Board Member for Silence and a Youth Editorial Board Member for Health Nexus.
